Milk of Magnesia

Is that safe to take during third trimester? I am 36 weeks along. I've tried everything I can think of. Lots of prune juice, fiber cereal, activia yogurt, magnesium supplement... I just want to go to the bathroom lol

Not everything that mom takes crosses the placenta. All milk of magnesia does is increase osmosis in the intestines meanimg drawing in more water from your body into your intestine to more easily pass a bm.
