Mormon Ads Rant

So these have been all over the place but most notably on this app. What I want to know is, what is the big idea supposed to be? I'm trying to get through one of the most important and sensitive tasks I can ever complete in my life, how exactly is a Mormon supposed to help me out with that?
This is like advertising for a sale at Nebraska Furniture Mart on an app for a diabetics support group. It's completely unrelated and no help to the audience.

I keep getting ads on this app advertising oncology, and sometimes clothes lol. It's weird.

Theres always an ad on my phones app of a man just wearing underwear. How is that related? Lol

Maybe if you are Mormon. It's not like we are heathens on here...lol I have my religion and my Rabbi for that! I'm here for support from woman who are going through what I have been through...lol

I seen my first one yesterday. I have to say though i don't feel its totally unrelated and unreasonable to see them on this app. Pregnancy can be a very stressful and scary time. Its not unthinkable for someone to turn to God to help them through it especially if they are suffering from complications, facing iton their own, or have ssubstance abuse issues they are trying to overcome at the same time.

That's odd :/ I wonder why I don't get ads for massages or some kind of Grumpy Moms Anon meeting or something then lol I'm always bitching up a storm. SO finds it funny because he knows I know it's worth it.

I'm sure the church just pays for ads for the whole medhelp site... Maybe they feel like people diagnosed with cancer and other terminal illnesses will turn to God? I don't know... My husband and I got roped into a random tour of this giant Mormon center in Oahu bc they were offering "free tram tours".  When the tram stopped at their temple we were like "um....".  Lol it ended up being a good story to tell.  Funny bc I've never noticed these ads before this post. Lol.  I have noticed that the ads are tailored to comments you make.  It's "smart" advertising.  Like if you comment on threads with certain keywords you get related advertising.  It's bizarre.
