Moving baby

I just had a Dr appointment and my Dr used the doppler to try and hear a heartbeat. He couldn't find a heartbeat but could hear the baby is moving around alot! He said well we know if the is movement there is a heartbeat, but I'm still panicking a little. Anyone else have this happen? I Googled it and alot of ppl were saying at 11 weeks or so it was hard for their dr to find one too. Even the nurse commented and thought it was funny of how much the baby was moving. This is my first pregnancy and I have no clue what is going on or what to expect except I think about the worst even though that's not good. I still don't know how far for sure I am since I measured 10 weeks (2 weeks ago) during my ultrasound and according to when my last period was we think I'm 14 weeks now.

Cool! Well congrats everyone glad to hear it's a normal thing and I don't have to panic. I've been told that most women miscarry with their first pregnancy so I have been so worried even though that's not always true. Can't wait for 2.5 more weeks til I find out the sex.... then I'll have something else to think about and hopefully stop thinking bad thoughts. Thank you all for your help and advice!

I believe the chances of miscarriage  dropped tremendously after 10 weeks so you can kinda take that off ya mind too. But my first kiddo wouldn't let the dipper touch me she would move or kick it off . Lol baby said he or she will be found when ready. Congrats live it up this is your time to shine and get everything you want lol

My Midwife told me their tiny hearts are hard to find until about 14-15 weeks.. At my 12 week scan i was excited cos i thought i would hear it but unfortunatly no lol BUT she also didnt try as she didnt want to panic me if we couldnt find it.. Im 15 weeks and this is my first soo will be finding out sex and hearing a heartbeat at my next visit! ...all very exciting!

This happened to me all the time. I have my own Doppler and I would check her heart beat and it was there one day and gone the next but I always heard her moving, now she just kicks like crazy so that is comforting but you don't have a reason to worry if dr said he heard baby moving :-)
