Mucus plug. .

Do any of you know if the mucus plug replaces itself? I was told that it can replace itself and I know my body is prepping for labor. I just hope I don't go into full labor anytime soon.  Im 32+5 and have started losing pieces of my mucus plug(no blood) today.  Trying not to worry but I have a history of preterm birth.

Yes it does. The mucus plug is just a build of cervical secretions that 'plug' the cervix. Once you lose it the cervix continues to release these secretions and it can build up again. I lost mine at 27wks and have been on meds since to control my preterm labour, now 34wks, and my dr wasn't concerned at all because it most likely will have regenerated. Good luck!
