Mucus plug STILL COMING OUT!?
I am 37+1 today and at 36+3 I had my membranes swept for medical reasons. The day after the sweep, I had a bloody show/mucus plug come out. Since then it's still been coming out in large amounts. I seriously mean big amounts, like a table spoon or more at a time since then. Even though this is my second baby, I didn't notice my mucus plug pass with my first, so I'm wondering if this is normal? It's been 5 days now.

The problem is, is that it can grow back, so it may be taking so long because it's trying to grow back and then coming away again, speak to your healthcare provider. X
