Mucus plug?? (Tmi) need answer

39 weeks and wiped myself and there was brown discharge , could it have been my mucus plug? & if so what should I do .. ?

You can lose it by pieces or all at once . It's like a huge blood clot . You'll know . Don't know why the other lady said white ... Your thinking of normal pregnsncy discharge Hun .. I'm a nurse mucus plug is not white

A mucus plug will look like egg whites. Might come out in smaller pieces but will have the same consistency. As long as u r not bleeding enough to fill a pad u r fine and u don't need to do anything if u lost your plug. It doesn't mean anything really. Disappointing I know. I'm 38 weeks and lost mine last week and have been losing pieces since then and still nothing
