My baby is here!

At 38 weeks along, 2 days ago, i started feeling stronger and more frequent contractions. Went in at 3.5 cm and was admitted. I asked for an epidural as soon as the contractions got too hard for me and from there on I was able to relax. After a while I was induced a bit (cautiously since I had a csection a year and a half ago) and made it to 9 cm but didnt make more progress and due to my water breaking several hours ago I was starting to get an infection so I decided to have a csection. My baby was finally born about 20 hours after contractions began. Caught a fever after surgery and have been given medicine but I feel great this time around. And my baby boy, jeremiah, is 7'11 lbs and 19 inches. He is such a sweetheart. Met his sister here at the hospital yesterday, and his 1 1/2 year old big sister kept giving him kisses. So glad and thankful to be going home soon. Good luck to all you ladies!
