I had a slight bicornuate and a septate uterus. 2 miscarriages were a result from that. I started bleeding in my 7th week and ended up miscarrying at 3months and 10 weeks. I had a lot of tests done along with MRIs, xrays, body scans, ultrasounds and a very painful/uncomfortable sonohystagram that finally confirmed that I had a slight indentation abt 3cmm on the top as well as a fibrous tissue from the bottom of the uterus that separated the cavity in 2. And back in January I had surgery to remove the septum and fix the indentation. Now I'm 7w3 hoping for a healthy pregnancy. Good luck!
No problem, glad I could help! Congrats on your pregnancy and good luck :-)
I have one as well. I'm pregnant with #2. I bled until week 11 with my first pregnancy. This pregnancy I've had no bleeding. Be careful with Google, it's scary!
That helps me so much that is what Im doing now spotting off and on. Thank u so much
This pregnancy I spotted from about week 7-11 but I also had a small bleed behind my placenta. With my son in 2011 I spotted off n on until week 10
Help ease your mind a little to know.. I have the bicorniate uterus, but my younger sister was actually born with 2 of them and she carried and birthed a set of twins that was carried in 1!
Yes I agree it was like Google was telling u all the worst things that could happen.
Omg thank u so much this is very helpful! And takes a big relief off my chest. But if u dnt mind me asking how long does ur spotting usually last and how often does it happen?
It really is a scary thing to hear about, especially not knowing a whole lot about it, and google can be an evil thing too
I have spotted during all of my pregnancies. My first pregnancy I had spotting early on but wasn't told about my uterus until my 20wk growth scan
Did u start spotting during the veganing of ur pregnacy? That is how I found out in the firat place bcuz I went to the e.r. I started spotting.
I have a bicorniate uterus I am 21wks with baby number 4 :-) I have had 3 miscarriages, but my doc says it wasn't from that. I do sometimes get terrible pains that happen more the further along I get that my doc says may be caused by the bicorniate uterus. I wouldn't worry a whole lot about it, worry and stress isn't good for you or pregnancy (I know, easier said than done lol)
