Normal weight gain?

This is my 2nd pregnancy. Very complicated pregnancy with my 1st. I ended up on bed rest and gained around 36lbs and only delivered a (premature) 4lb baby!! How much have you ladies gained so far? What about with past pregnancies?

Thanks ladies! I'm very nauseous and exhausted so I'm not doing much. Just don't want to gain too much!

I gained about 40 pounds last pregnancy.  I am 18 weeks now and i have lost 29 pounds due to unrelated health issues.  My doctors arent concerned ad i have had to change my diet drastically.   I think weight gain can really vary. Some people only gain 5 to 10 pounds and most of that is baby! As long as your doctor isnt concerned you are fine.  Good luck!

I'm overweight (5" 4' 205lb) so with my first they said I shouldn't gain more than 20lb. I gained 23lb but lost it all within the first 10 days post partum. Baby was 8lb 9oz. This time around I'm 15 weeks and only gained 4lb so far. No morning sickness with either of them.
