My doctor says it's from swelling also.

I get it too to the point where it was hard to sleep at night. Its completely normal. During pregnancy the amount of blood in your body increases which puts more pressure on the nerves in your body...thats why you get that tingling and numbing sensation.Nothing to be alarmed about.

I have numbness and tingling very bad. I'm almost 38 weeks. In pregnancy women get carpal tunnel symptoms that will go away after delivery. I hate to say it only gets worse. They recommend wrist braces if you have it really bad. Mine is so bad that my hands are swollen and basically useless when I wake up in the mornings and takes about an hour or so to go back somewhat normal. I hope you ladies don't have to experience it that bad. Good luck!

Ajsbaby, you're exactly right I have the same thing on the side of my ribs under my boob where it gets so numb that I can't feel it and it feels like a burn I thought it was from my tattoo but my doctor told me it's the baby pushing on my nerves from him running out of room lol

No not on my extremeties but my rib cage under my left breast gets all tingly dr said it was skin stretching but I honestly believe its my son pushing on nerves... In your case though do your hands and feet get cold when they get tingly?? It could be a blood flow/ circulation issue. I also know sometimes pregnancy brings out carpal tunnel syndrome ( I had it for a few weeks back in my first trimester which makes your fingers go numb unusually but I dont think that would affect your feet.. You may wanna discuss it with your dr.. as possible gestational diabetes as well...
