Palpitations

HI all, do anyone get heart palpitations while pregnant? I hear they can come on during pregnancy due to extra blood flow n stuff. But it gets scary at times!! x

How funny! I've had those a few times and I was just surprised I had them without drinking any caffeine..

Yes. How far along are you? Im 32 weeks tomorrow. I've had a heart condition, nothing serious, since i was 15- Im now 26. My cardiologist said its completely normal to feel heart flutters or palpitations while pregnant especially in 3rd trimester. All of our insides are pushed up, baby is bigger, blood flow, etc. Our resting heart rate is also typically a little higher than normal.
If you feel your heart racing, light headed, dizziness, etc- i would call the doctor.
It is scary to feel your heart flutter or race, trust me i know! When i feel it i just sit down, relax & drink water. Some women develop the condition i have while pregnant- its a fast heart rate in +non medical terms) and there are safe meds you can take.

I did the other night amd ended up getting sick and vomiting. I had nachos at the rodeo amd baby must not have liked them. They are scary though.
