Pity Party for one :/

I know, I know. These sorts of posts are annoying. But I guess I'm wondering if anyone else is starting to get a little miserable? I am 32w 4d, have horrible heartburn, have ridiculous insomnia, often leak urine on myself, and have a pinched nerve in my upper back. My doctor recommended a prenatal massage focusing on my shoulder blade region, but it made it even worse!!!! I've tried everything I can think of to help it. Honestly, being pregnant was going really well until this pinched nerve happened. I can't even nest and I'm starting to really get the urge but I can't even reach or bend over, much less get down and dirty cleaning and moving things.

I am really looking forward to the end of this now. Really really hoping I don't have to put up with this pain for the next 7 and a half weeks. *cry*

Same boat here. 31+4 and sciatic pain like crazy. Around 32 weeks with my first she had her feet so far lodged into my ribs that she subluxated them and sprained my intercostal muscles. I couldn't even breathe without pain. Chiropractor helped a lot though. Massage fixes muscles, not nerved pinched by your bones being out of place. As your uterus gets bigger your ribcage can expand several inches to accommodate it. Mine did with my first and it's painful. Good luck mama!

I just told my boyfriend last night that im starting go dislike this. Im 30 weeks and heartburn almost brought me to tears last night, i was just so tired. Sitting on the couch is uncomfortable. I dont want to nest at all i just want to relax when baby is sleeping. Thats when im the most confortable.... when he isnt moving.  I feel your pain.

I was just about to suggest a chiropractor. They are wonderful. I got into a car accident in March and that has been the only good outcome from it. I'm soooo thankful for my adjustments. I want to go back just thinking about it, but they're closed today :(

Naw, sorry to hear that and I sure can understand the pity-party even though Im not there yet ;) As for the pinched nerve. I was going to a chiropractor a year ago after my spine had come out of place, anyway she told me that she could even help with chiropractic during a pregnancy to help the spine with all the connecting nerves to function better which would be beneficial for the whole pregnancy. So my advice to you is to go to a chiropractor that can handle a pregnancy! It feels soo much better when it's done ;)
