Pregnant and Sick

I'm 27 and 9 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I prayed to get pregnant for so long, and now that I am, I find that I am so incredibly ill all the time. I am so thankful that I'm having a baby, but I feel so awful all the time and some days I just want to give up. I feel like a wimp because I know other women do this all the time. I guess I don't feel strong enough. Am I alone on this one?

I had the same feeling in my first and Half of the second trimester. I prayed for my baby because I have pcos and I didn't want to turn to any treatments to get pregnant. When I was blessed with the news a week later I became Ill. I was in and out of the doctors office and hospitals and could barely walk because I was weak. I questioned my strength everyday until the sickeness was over. I am now 32 weeks with my first baby, so you're not alone keep pushing. BTW when I was Ill I was barely eating and getting fluids and surprisingly the baby was growing weeks ahead every visit.

Don't worry hun you aren't alone at all. I'm 9 wks also & going thru the same stuff as you. From the min I wake up to the min I go to bed I'm nauseous & for the first few hrs of the morning I can barely part ways with the toilet everything thing that goes in comes right back up. This is my fourth child & my first two pregnancies were wonderful my third I slept alot & experienced some nausea & now this one has me feeling like giving up sometimes too. This pregnancy will definitely be my last that Ik cuz I don't wanna go thru this ever again. We're almost thru our first trimester though so hang in there & it will get better that's what I tell myself everyday cuz Ik the constant sickness is gonna be over before Ik it.

Do not worry. This is his the first trimester is. It feels like having mono. It is a good sign you are feeling sick. You will make it through. Sleep as much as your can, you need the rest. You are strong enough and it's normal to question it. You're almost at your second trimester and things will start getting much better soon!
