Prodromal Labor

With my first son I had prodromal labor for about 3 weeks before my water broke, when I switched over to active labor it went very quickly. I'm 28 weeks with my second and the prodromal labor has started, this time it's all back contractions which are so much more painful. I'm nervous because it is starting so early this time and I don't want to have my peanut early. I've been talking with the doctors but going to triage doesn't do anything bc the contractions are extremely irregular and I know I'm not dilated far. It takes me weeks to get to 3cm. However once I got 3 it takes me only 1-2 hours to jump to 10. Laying down and drinking water does nothing to stop it for me, has this happened to anyone and any advice on how to stop it.

Thanks! My uterus is completely split in half which is why the doctors say I contract so frequently. But I'm bad at going to L & D because the ones I had during labor with my first and the ones leading up to labor felt exactly the same. They went from all over the place to 1- 2 minutes apart then I guess I was lucky bc that part of labor only lasted for like an hour. But with my first I was so tired of the contractions I refused to go to the hospital until my water actually broke.

Every pregnancy is different but definitely keep a close eye and try to rest as much as possible which I know is hard with a little one running around. It's very common to have Braxton hicks in the 3rd trimester. It's our body just practicing for the big day.
