Rh incompatibility

Hello all,
I just had my first ultra sound and blood test this weekend, I'm 6 weeks along. I found out my blood type is O neg and my husband is A pos. He is so paranoid that he wanted me to look to see if we are comparable.  Come to find out, I am among the 15% of O neg blood type. I stared reading that Rh incompatibility could be an issue for me giving birth or even having a second child in the future. Has anyone dealt with this, and if so, is it something to worry about?
Thanks.

It's not a big deal. I'm A negative n this is my 3rd pregnancy. U get a shot during ur 28 week or so. That's it. It would've been a problem a long time ago but not now when it's so advance.

Thank you. I do my best not to worry about things, cause I figure increased stress does no-one any good. I appreciate it.

I'm O negative as well... It's no big deal they will offer you a shot around 28 weeks and then again post delivery!! Being O negative is awesome, we are one of the select few who can donate blood to any blood group!!! Don't stress it's all good :-)

I'm also O negative. It's not a big deal at all... Basically you get a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks, and another another after you deliver. I had to have one around 12 weeks because I was spotting, and I didn't have any side effects at all. Definitely call your doctor if you start spotting. They will give you a shot, just in case. Try not to stress about it, it's really not as big of a deal as Dr. Google makes it sound :)
