Hi. I am 5 weeks pregnant, second pregnancy & I just can't contain my excitement.  I keep blurting it out in conversations. I'm thinking I should just officially post it soon. I know you are supposed to wait, but I feel really good :)

I waited until 13 weeks. After 12-13 weeks chances of miscarriages are significantly lower. Trust me nothing like having a miscarriage early then someone ask how baby is, painful. I did tell my close family early.

I think it is best to wait until about 12 weeks.... or at least after 10 or so with a normal ultrasound.  I know it is hard to keep it to yourself, but I had a miscarriage a few years ago and had already told people.  It's a lot harder if people know.
