Sinuses

Hello Ladies,  I need some help. As we know,  during pregnancy we can't take alot of medications.  My sinuses have been draining in the back of my throat.  Its annoying and very irritating.  I'm constantly blowing my nose.  Its is becoming raw.  Does anyone know of anything safe to take to control this problem.  And its making it very hard to sleep at night.

You're welcome. I told my ob about it today. She looked it up and agreed it was perfectly safe. Since she has never heard of it she made a note of the name so she can suggest to others. I feel like a whole new person! Oh btw it is called Xyzal. The name I gave you was the generic. Hope you feel better!!!

Thank u for the suggestion.  I will ask my doctor about that medication. I'm also tired of going through so many tissues. I'm already on my second box and its only 2:45 in the afternnon.

I have been suffering for five months with severe nasal congestion. I finally broke down yesterday and went to my family practioner. She prescribed me levocetirizine. Its a newer allergy medication and supposively the best! Its class B which is in same caterogory as benedryl. I'm telling you I have been through 14 bottles of afrin and have not been able to go anywhere without my tissues. I have taken one so far and not one tissue today!
