Prior to conceiving I was on Trazadone for insomnia and another medication for restless leg that kept me up at night. I quite everything cold turkey when we started trying so I feel your pain! My doctor recommend benadryl and unisom, there is actually a presciption with unisom and b6 that is supposed to help with morning sickness and sleep (Diclicef? I think). Unfortunately both unisom and benadryl are antihistamines and make my restless leg worse. Last week my OB prescribed me some Phenergan, not for sickness but in hopes it would knock me out. I've only used it ones, trying to use only on nights when I can't sleep any other way, it worked like a charm last night for about 4 hours. More sleep than I have had in months.

Healthy mama makes a product called EaZZZE the Pain! Which works like a charm.  They sell on line or at cvs.  It's specifically for pregnant women.

I take one melatonin to sleep bc my hands and feet itch all night and I constantly have to pee and cant get comfy. If im in a deep sleep it helps but once my two year old wakes me up Im up for the rest of the day no matter if he goes back to sleep or not.

I used to take benadryl as well. My midwife said itbwas safe but I decided I shouldn't take it every night. My husband started massaging my feet(specially sole area, like botroms of my feet) with mustard oil and it helped SO MUCH. Witj benadryl, I was able ro sleep only for few hours but massage helped me sleep for atleast 5 to 6 hours without using any drugs. I would suggest that. Good luck :)

No there isn't I'm afraid! All that can help really is trying to winde down early, drinking hot milk before bed and taking a warm bath and hope the change in temperature will lull you into a sleep! Also the obvious, not drinking caffeine, try reading a book in bed and listening to calming music!
