Spitting small amounts of blood

Hey ladies.  I am 12 weeks and for the past few days when I awake in the morning, I spit out small amounts of blood. It always stops. I'm not sure what it could be. I have yet to be able to see my IV he is out the office a lot. Anyone else experience this before?

Have you been vomiting? If so, your throat could be irritated. I have a deviated septum and when I sleep I breath through my mouth so my throat often gets dry. That could be a possibility as well. If it turns dark red and increases, see a doc immediately.

No I haven't.  I need to make an appointment though. The first time it happened I thought it was my gums but then it felt like it came from my throat or something

Have you been to the dentist? It could be your gums bleeding.
