My aunt who works in labor and delivery told me that's perfectly normal. She said moving around a bit might help, but sometimes it just hurts. Freaked my husband or the first time I told him it hurt down there.

You get a lot of aches and pains while pregnant in a lot of areas. For ftm's it can be scary. When I was pregnant with my first, I went to the hospital all the time thinking something was wrong.

It went away after 5 minutes but it was scary I'd never had that pain before.

Yeah that's how i felt but i don't think it was gas. It felt like i had been pinched in the stomach the pain was all in my back and i could barely breath. I just kept breathing heavy until it stopped.

It is, it could be from gas or round ligament pain. Depending on where the pain is coming from, how severe it is, and any other symptoms associated with it will tell you if its serious or not. Whenever jn doubt its best to always check with your doctor. For me gas has been extremely painful. I thought I was having a miscarriage one night because of it.
