Stress and baby development

I'm 9 w 5 d. I'm constantly under stress. I work two jobs the father is out of the picture and I have little to no financial help. I may even lose my medical card because of working two jobs. But heres my question. How much damage or what kind of damage can stress and depression do to my unborn child? I really have no way to manage my stress nor can i only live on one job. Any idea on damage?

u poor thing. u are workin so hard to provde for this baby. u are so strong. go u! but I was workin in a stressful job-financial services and @ 24wks it was.noticed my babies growth had slowed down-not dramactically but enough for my doc to notice. She wrote.me off sick until baby arrives at 28wks. I was hard going off sick as I felt a failure cos I wamted to work right up til baby more or less but baby is so much more important. Im in a very lucky situation that I get paid when off sick. But as my doc said my job wouldn care if anything happened me or my baby nor would they help if my baby arrived early due to stress. guess u gotta put things into perspective sometimes. good luck xxxxx
