Stress

How exactly can stress be harmful during a pregnancy?? I just lost my grandpa on the 2nd so I'm going through that on top of really stressful financial issues. I'm worried about my baby boy but I have soo much on my plate right now and I feel like this last week I've been sooo sad and crying constantly

I am sorry for your loss. I would allow your self to grieve without that additional worry.

I have questioned the stress premise many times. We  humans have come through So much it make it through this many generations that it is hard for be to believe that stress role is  so detrimental. In fact great chucks of the world's women are having babies in crazy horrible conditions.

The role of stress is not truly drummed out. I recommend doing the things today are truly proven. Try to eat right, sleep. Baby will be just fine.

Sorry about your grandpa :( stress raises your heart rate and an elevated heart rate isn't good for your baby. Crying helps so much. Cry it out and find a support person to help you go through your struggles and someone to talk out what you are feeling. Helps so much.
