If its really severe talk to your Dr they might let you take sudafed I ended up with a sinus infection my congestion was unbearable so they put me on a low dose of sudafed because nothjg else was working they told me to use saline nose spray and a humidifier. You have to be careful because you can get dehydrated on sudafed. Ask your Dr though don't just take it. You can also use afrin it was on my list of safe medications the Dr gave me but you have to be very careful because if you use afrin for more than 3 days it will make your congestion worse.
