wow..this is interesting..i always thought they wouldnt be any use..i gave birth with just gas and air right as i pushed..too late to hospital to get anything else before..i know its doable but i still have memories of the pain..i begged for an epidural for my stitches lol..(they said no obviously lol) but i deffo would like to try this as i dont want an epidural
I'll be trying it with this baby. It will be number 5 for me
I had gas and air amd tens with my first and yeah I managed it, he was 9lb 3. I live in the UK and have hired a tens from a website I think is called tens.Co.UK or something like that for 21 quid for 5 weeks. It's in my mat bag ready to go! :) it worked for me!
I really do recommend it to every pregnant mother. Before I tried the Tens machine I was scared of contractions pain and now I can honestly say that as long as I have that I'll be fine, it's more natural than any pain killers the docs will give.
Tens machine sounds interesting but we don't have those or at least don't use them. I'm a natural person though.
Whatever works for you. Epidural didn't work for me still felt loads of pain
Very interesting,,, I'm an epidural girl all the way this will be my 3rd baby and 3rd epidural
Gas and air is that mask with gas oxygen in it it makes you helps sleuths labour pain. Tens machine you buy online or from a shop, gives you electric shocks if you weren't contracting they would hurt but when your contracting it takes all the pain away, sort of feels like a back massage. It's a little machine with wires that stick onto your back, Google it x
We don't have gas and air or a ten machine in America can u explain what it is We only have iv narcotics and epidural
