Tooth Infection

I just had to have four teeth pulled at the dentist today and she told me that one of them had a pretty bad infection in it and she was glad she got it out for the sake of my baby. I am 25+ 4 do you think the infection harmed my baby before itwas pulled? What kind of harm can a tooth infection do to an unborn baby? Also I am in SUCH PAIN! ***** getting teeth pulled wgile pregnant- no pain killers for this patient!

Thank you for responding. i took an antibiotic last week for 6 days, i had to before she would pull it, but I am in SUCH pain now that the novecain has worn off! I took some tylenol but I am hoping this heals ridiculously fast lol. Im glad my baby should be ok though.

And you should maybe see about some anti biotics as well cause the infection is probably still there but having the tooth out will help.

Your baby should be fine. I just had my tooth pulled yesterday due to an infection then went to the doctor right after and baby is great. At least they caught it before it got way out of hand. And it is quite painful. You should talk to your doctor mine have me some codeine and I only had to take one the pain is pretty much gone now but it was unbearable at first. You can take Tylenol also.
