I had an extraction a few years ago while preg. It was painful, but not nearly as painful as the abscessed tooth. And afterwards I was really thankful because the pain from all the excess blood in the gums, etc really made me miserable.

Ive been getting dental work done through out my pregnancy.  I also had a tooth extracted.  You should be fine. The dentist I go to doesnt give a pregnant woman any kind of sedative or pain meds.  If u have any questions ask ur dr or the dentist.  Make sure they know ur pregnant and how far u are.
