Traveling at 25.5-26 weeks

Tonight I had a true panic attack. My boss booked a course for me to take in Florida in a week. At that time I'll be 25.5 weeks and flying back at my 26 week mark. I called my doctor and they said it should be on to travel as long as I get up and walk around a lot. For some reason I'm beyond panicking right now. I'm so scared something bad will happen and I'm most worried about preterm labor. She already booked the flight and I'm afraid if I back out now I'll lose my job. I'm at a loss right now. Can someone please shed some light on this for me? I'm I freaking out over nothing? Can something serious happen?

I think you'll be fine, if everything's been good in your pregnancy and your doctor doesn't have any concerns and gave you the okay,  than you'll be okay... don't stress

I flew up to 35 weeks. I drank plenty of water and got an aisle seat. It's nothing. They will take all of your bags so you don't have to lift. You may want some support hoses if you plan to walk a lot

Nothing in particular. I'm an anxious person to begin with and the thought of flying while being pregnant just worries me. I worry about the health of my baby. The scariest thought for me is preterm labor. I checked on Jet Blues website and they don't recommend flying 7 days before your due date which is insane to me. My doctor gave me the ok to fly up until wk 28 so I felt like I was cutting it close. I've never flown before while prego and everyone I talk to never has had a baby so I'd rather seek advice from other woman going through pregnancy that would understand and maybe make me feel less anxious.

I took a flight when I was about 32 weeks also and was fine. It wasn't the most comfortable but I was fine. Have you been having any issues that make you worried specifically?

I took a flight and I was 32 weeks and did good. I just made sure I got up every 30 min and moved around. If the doctor says you can go then you should be OK.

I took a flight from Florida to NY AT 25 weeks. I got the okay from my doctor first. If you are traveling alone my advice would be to pack lightly or check a bag because i brought just a carry on and it was a bit too much. I was let through priority security screening since I was pregnant which was nice avoiding the long lines. I made sure to have an aisle seat that way I can get up as I pleased without having to squeeze past two people. It really wasn't at all bad but I definitely would not fly without getting the okay from your doctor first. And if your doctor advises against it then get a doctors note to provide your employer. I don't think you can be fired depending on how long you have worked there. If your doctor gives you the okay just make sure to bring with you anything that would make you most comfy.....small blanket, neck pillow, music or whatever.
