Tylenol?

Do you guys take Tylenol on occasion for headaches, etc? I do once in a while when a bad headache strikes (maybe once every 2-3 weeks), but now I'm reading of links to ADHD. My doctor says it's fine to take though. What has your doctor said? Do you feel comfortable taking it?

You can find studies to link anything to anything. I don't take much stock in them. People can say, yes I took Tylenol during pregnancy and yes my kid has ADHD, so therefore it has to be because of the Tylenol. They don't take the time to think about or concider what other factors could contribute to it. Its the same thing with vaccines being linked to autism.

My doctor said extra strength Tylenol is ok and the only thing I can take plus in the ER that's all they give you when you're pregnant

If you also do good research you would see so many reviews of women who took Tylenol because doc says it was ok but pat attention to how many more children in the world are diagnosed with adhd and autism. The numbers are still growing and its not just Tylenol that is doing this but also some of the food eat. :/

I read that also but I wouldn't take it because there's been more women coming out that took Tylenol and their children had the effects of it. Pretty much think about it, everything over the counter or prescription drug is a drug its chemicals put together to relief any pain. Its still some type of drug and most likely not good for baby. But some women are ok with taking it. This is just my opinion. God bless

I'm late in my 3rd Trimester and have taken Tylenol for anything pain relief needed from the beginning. Have moved so I've been to 3 doctors, all of whom have recommended Tylenol for safe pain relief. I personally think it does very little for me personally but it's the only thing I can take so I do.

@Nonishy- Caffeine is not the main ingredient in Tylenol.  It's not in Tylenol at all. @OP Tylenol is fine during any stage in pregnancy.  Just don't take more than 3000 mg of it in 24 hours. There are studies that link something to everything.  They aren't all accurate.

I have always been told Tylenol is safe during pregnancy. They never told me regular strength or not to take during 3rd trimester... I will have to ask my Dr that sounds crazy.. but if there are links to add and autism then it should be avoided.

My dr says it's fine until the 3rd trimester,  but i drink a soda and that takes care of my headache.  The main ingredient in tylonal is caffeine,  and we'll a soda has plenty of that and helps quicker.
