Unable to wear wedding rings?

Anyone else have that problem? I'm 32 weeks and have had swelling issues off and on my whole pregnancy. And now I can't wear my rings at all. :/ I hate not being able to wear them and I got all emotional when I couldn't get them on.

I'm only 26 weeks and have had the same problem and I don't like the feeling either so I ordered a larger sterling silver/cubic one off Groupon for like $10. It's not real obviously but makes me feel better to have a ring on my finger and it won't turn green : )

Hmm... I think I might also pick up a cheap band to wear temporarily. I just feel very naked without them.

Due to hormones I develop a allergy to all real gold when pregnant. I can't wear any of my jewelry that's special to me. Living in what is referred to as the bible belt, I feel very judged walking around with my big belly no rings. (Yes silly but still) my hubby knowing this went to the local Walmart n purchased me a fake wedding set n sterling silver( n a larger size to accommodate swelling) along with a watch earrings n necklace. Its not the same but its special to us.

I've had to wear mine on my necklace since I was 17 weeks. I hate it and cried and whined but my hubby wants me to be comfortable and all but pulled them off himself

I am 36wks and have had to take mine off at night time for the last week. As the day goes on the swelling seems to go down and I am able to put them back on. I couldn't wear them at all with my last pregnancy starting at around 20wks, so I put then on a necklace.

I had to take mine off around 32 weeks. I wore then on a necklace, I was sad at first and felt naked without them but didn't want to take the chance of the them getting cut off. I'm 4 weeks post partum and was able to wear them for the first time yesterday! A great feeling :)

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's nice knowing I'm not alone on this. I like the advice on putting them on a necklace.

I also wear mine on a necklace. I'm almost 35 weeks, probably haven't been able to wear it since week 25 or so. I almost couldn't get it off the last time I wore it!

I can't be of much help, hubby and I decided to get tattoos instead of rings.. but definitely don't wear it if it is too small! It could end up seriously hurting you and possibly ruin the ring by having to cut it off

I took my rings off during my last pregnancy and lost them! In a couple weeks my new ones will be going in a lock box until I can wear them again.

Yes please put them on a necklace! Because I waited and ended up having to get mine cut off! My hands swelled  so bad at the end and it was too late.

I've not been able to get mine on since 20 weeks. I was feeling the same way as you and like said above, I put them on a necklace

I'm also 32 weeks and I have already removed my wedding band. Sure it made me sad but I know one day I'll be able to out them back on. Dont worry. You'll be OK.

What about wearing them on a necklace?   Will they fit on another finger? Sorry I can't be more helpful than that, mine are still fitting.
