What helps with high anxiety and panic attacks?

We are due at any point now and stress is starting to bother both of us. He is at work, extremely worried and it's difficult for him to focus. Meanwhile,  I'm at home, having severe contractions, dilated and having panic attacks and can't sleep or think of anything else! We have tried every possible at home induction method! I catch myself trying to find new ones but after weeks of researching it, I'm not sure why I expect to find anything new. It's 5a.m. and I'm going crazy! I'm exhausted, anxious and panicking! My Doctor is out of town so he won't be delivering. Everyone keeps asking "when are you going to have the baby?"... I'm out of ideas, baths don't help, yoga doesn't help, mediation doesn't help and honestly talking to family doesn't either! They all just want the baby to be born already. Any advice? Please help, it's becoming hard to function with my daily life. I'm a wreck at the moment...

Thank you, that is actually very helpful. I appreciate it. I had ppd after my last and was diagnosed with antinatal depression with one. It was better for a while but recently it has been a little worse. I'm the homeopathic type so medication is a no for me. It's been a difficult pregnacy and really, anything helps at this point.

Glad they're helpful suggestions!

I put the Balance on my wrists, feet, and chest 2-3x a day. But if you're stressed you can really use it as much as you want. I also diffuse it throughout the day.

Serenity great in a hot bath. 3-4 drops is enough for an entire bathtub. I also diffuse it in the evening and sometimes put it on the bottom of my feet and back of my neck before bed. You could also put a drop or two on your pillow before going to sleep.

You can get both of these from Doterra's website. Just a heads up, they're cheaper on Amazon, but most Doterra products on Amazon are fakes that have been cut with other oils and come from sellers overseas so you really don't want them. You can order a good diffuser for under $20 from Amazon.
Also, Clary Sage oil is supposed to help you have more regular contractions if you're already in early labor. You can put it in a hot bath, diffuse it, or cut it with fractionated coconut oil and rub it on your stomach and back. Might be worht a try. :)

:( Sorry to hear you're stressed. The end of pregnancy is hard. ESPECIALLY when you're overdue and family and friends won't stop pestering you. :/ Have you told an ob how you're feeling? That would be my first suggestion.

I've had problems with anxiety. Especially with ppd after the birth of our firstborn. I didn't feel like myself for 7 or 8 months. I really didn't want to take depression medicine because I was nursing. Finally I visited a holistic nurse practitioner who gave me some really good suggestions.

Besides some lifestyle changes, she had me start using Balance and Serenity essential oils from doterra. They literally made a world of difference and pulled me out of my depression in a week or two. And, they're perfectly safe during pregnancy. I'm 40.3 weeks and have been using them this whole time.

I know it's probably a different suggestion than you'd expect, but if you're interested let me know and I'll give you more info. I don't sell doterra so I'm not making any profit or anything. Just trying to help out. :)

Btw, if your anxiety and panic attacks last after delivery, please see a dr. Ppd is nothing to mess around with.
