When should I go to the doctor to confirm?

So I think I'm about 4 weeks just tested positive 3 days ago,and I'm just wondering when to go to the doctor to confirm pregnancy?

The doc confirmed it when I was 5 wks pregnant and after it was confirmed then they scheduled me for an official prenatal consultation.

I believe at 8 weeks. I'm 7 weeks and called several places and they all said they could see after i hit the 8 weeks mark to do a complete prenatal checkup, including sonogram. I found out a week ago, and I'm desperate to see my OB. I'm scheduled for the 11th.

I found out right away this time around.  I made an apt around 6 weeks thought they would do an ultra sound to confirm but all the did was paper work and blood work and scheduled me for a second ultrasound where it was confirmed that one was around 11 weeks

Most ob/gyn's have procedures they follow.  Mine is that you call and tell them you got a positive home test and then they set an appointment for when you are 8 to 9 weeks along.  This is pretty common.  They do not see you sooner than that. congrats hon!

When I found out I was pregnant qt 6 weeks I had to go to a clinic to confirm and had to get referred to a doctor. Im now 15 weeks 2 days

I called the doctor the day my test was positive. They asked me about my last period and based on that They made an appointment
