When to call doctor?

22 weeks, have felt nauseous for two days. Threw up breakfast today, kept down a piece of pita and some lemonade, threw up chicken noodle soup tonight. Feel exhausted, and stomach hurts. No fever. When should I call the doctor? Should I be worried? I didn't throw up once during first trimester!

Actually there is stuff your doctor or the nurse can recommend for you. They can give you anti - nausea medication or even just tell you to come in for a check up... it's never hurts to call and ask them that's what you are paying for ! :) hope you feel better!

I was told there is no reason to call your doctor unless you have a fever or you can't keep water down and are at risk for dehydration. There won't be anything your doc can do otherwise. There is nothing to be done for a normal stomach virus and antibiotics are only used for an infection which would have an accompanying fever. Just ride it out!

Nausea and vomiting all though most common early on can happen at any point during pregnancy. It's probably nothing, but if you begin to feel you are actually sick or something is wrong just call your Dr and ask, if nothing else they may have advice on how to manage the symptoms.
