When to go to hospital??

Contractions started 6.5 hrs ago and are now every 5 mins lasting 50-60 secs but pain is still bareable. I don't want to go into hospital to be sent home again. Do I wait til I can't handle pain and risk it being a rush?

The 5-1-1 rule is 5 minutes apart with 1 min duration for an hour at my hospital or they'll send you away, so if you've been having them for an hour, it sounds like you are about ready. :)

I do have a high pain threshold but after hearing how bad contractions are I'm questioning if it's the real deal although they are regular. I'm still at home going to leave it a little longer then ring midwife

I think it's time to go to doctor every five mins is close... You could be dilated also.. n have a high tolerance of pain or maybe you just might be very lucky and dilated but pain not strong... But every five mins is close..
