Why did I decide to get a puppy!?

I adore my lil Shipoo but shes been very rude. Now she gets on the table and eat whatever we have on our plate. She never did that before...it all just started. Shes becoming extremely annoying.  Its bad enough she just got her period for the 1st time ( shes in heat) now I have to deal with her thinking she rules this house! I need to get a cage before I give birth!  Like asap!...  this B**$& really hops on any table and eats out plate of food... really roxee? This means war!

I did not want a puppy, but my husband and kids overruled my vote so we got a puppy. Then I became pregnant with our 4th child.Husband and kids were supposed to care for pup, but ultimately responsibilities became mine since I am home.Pup was driving me crazy, housebroken but goes in the house to spite me. Takes toddlers toys and chews them up outside. Pulls the socks of my toddlers feet and takes of with them. I had enough...luckily my mother in law wanted another dog so he went to live with her yesterday. Having a puppy, todder, and being pregnant was too much for me. I told my family you didn't hold up your end of the bargain so now no dogs until new baby is 2yrs old. Luckily they agree.

For years my boyfriend wanted to get a dog and I always said if we get a dog we should just have a baby (same amount of work). And sure enough we got a Yorkie and 2 weeks later we found out that we were expecting. I now blame it on the dog (lol).

Lol my first trimester my husband got a pit/mastiff mix puppy. He was at work all day and I had to train it. I really wanted a dog for the longest time but I will never get a puppy again. I've cried and freaked out on this dog cause I had no pacientce. Between the hormones and everything I have not been able to bond with the dog like I've wanted. Its not been a good experience. I regret it but my husband doesn't. So I ferl you. Crate training saved my little sanity I had left. Do it. Its worth it.

I understand Britt333. I was thinking about a trainer myself but I rather spend the money on my girls! Im begging my  mom to take her for a few but my mom refuse to takr her because shes not trained. Shes soooo pretty but sooo annoying.  I think when after I give birth ill probably think about the trainer because now that I think of it.... we don't have the time. . :( just not now. Thank the Lord she's well taken care of. .. its just shes too much

Melissa22884... your totally right. Trust me i try. I really do. But it doesnt seem to register. I must confess.   Now to think of it...  she eats off our plates because we let her lick the plate once we finish eating. ..hmmmm omggg I cant... u guve her a inch she took a mile. Helpppp but I agree with everything you guys are saying! Thanks

Training training training! I am a dog groomer and see this all the time at work. You have to give them structure and consistency. It's great you are teaching her what not to do, but if everyone else lets her do whatever then you will lose the battle. It's double hard when they're so cute.best of luck

My dog just started being a brat to my daughter... Im not to happy. Thankfully my dog trainer is coming over today to talk to me about it. I would hate to get rid of her cuz she is super sweet but my baby comes first. You just need to be stern with her and make sure she knows you are boss not her.

My patience are getting thin..@cassondrax3. Shes 9 months but she still act like she doesn't know better. We haven't trained her because of my pregnancy, and no ones usually home. Since u have itty bitty babies make sure to train them.
Keelie81... I gave her a good whooping!  Now shes on my lap actin innocent.  My husband and daughter let her get away with everything but NOT I!  I hope once shes crate train her.. shes will get it! Ahhh the frustration!  Lol thanks ladies

My doxie does that. Just make sure you push all the chairs up to the table so she doesn't have anything to help her up. Crate training her will be good also both of our dogs are crate trained. Dicipline her when she gets on the table.

Haha I just adopted a new fur baby myself. I have two others and Misty is a poodle/Maltese mix. I took her in for a friend who was left with no where else to take her but a shelter due to her landlord. Three little fur babies is such a handful but I suppose ill be worse off when my little one arrives. Just think of it as training to learn patience haha. Good luck mama
