Yeast Infections !!

Is anybody getting yeast infections as often as you cure them? Im 6 months pregnant and I have never had this many yeast infections in my life. I only bathe with dial soap and the doctor said I shouldnt take baths, nothing but showers. Can anybody help me with some remedies or something to help with the yeast infections ??

Ahh, no douching! Best way for relief is to try your best to keep your ph level balanced "naturally." Drink lots and lots of water and eat and or insert some of that "Fage greek yogurt" for semi instant relief. Might wanna open up in front of s fan too lol

omygosh yes! so annoying .. I got a UTI first then they gave me antibiotics that caused a yeast infection and I had to get my yeast infection treated and the medication still didnt help the yeast infection was still there but now its gotten better but they said I have some kind of bacteria infection now. but all you can really do is ask ur doctor for medication and something that could help ease the irritation which really isnt much they can offer.

I treated my bf once with the external cream that comes with the monistat kit. I just rub it on the head of his penis!

All of these are great but its possible your partner could have some blame in this too. Ask your doc if there is anything he can use over the counter. A lot of men don't know they have it - you probably got one just because you are pregnant and have crazy hormones...then had relations and he got it- now you're just going back and forth with it.

Get meds for both of you, give yourselves an 8-11 day rest, then get it on :)

This happened to me after I had my last child. I had premature rupture of my membranes, and was on antibiotics for about a month straight. I had recurring yeast infections, and I would cry nonstop. I finally bought some good probiotics (PB8 was the brand) and they finally stopped. I had to take them religiously, and probiotics are safe to take while pregnant. Also cut your sugar consumption.

Try using only white cloths to wash, make sure your panties have cotton seats abd little to no dye in the crotch. Ummmm yogurt helps too and try Dove unscented soaps. Sometimes because dial is an antibacterial soap, it can destroy the good bacteria in the vagina causing yeast build up.

Showerhead and switch soaps. antibacterial soap is not meant for your privates. It wipes out alll the good bacteria leaving you open to infections, fungus. Switch to a non antibacterial soap and I guarantee your infections will slow down. Pregnancy produces so many hormones...we're prone to Yeast infections, but switching soaps will help a lot.
