acne?! nooo!!!

I am 16 weeks and have had clear skin up until now. I have been breaking out on my chin and jawline for the past week. Nothing I use seems to work. And its not just normal pimples, they are red and so sore! I know it is probably hormones, but there has to be something out there to help! I've read not to use sylic acid (sp?) While pregnant soi am at a loss. Any suggestions to help with this????

I had perfect skin until about a week ago. Its mostly on my chin, but it is clearing up with the coconut oil. I find out what I'm having on the 18th so we will see!

I have always had good skin until this pregnancy. While in my first trimester I broke out really bad! Mostly with blackheads in my checks. It didn't help that I picked at them. What I found that really worked for me was tea tree oil. It is extremely strong but all natural. And it dried my blackheads right up! Good luck. Oh and I'm now in my third trimester and my skin is back to clear Again

Ok ladies, I have been washing my face with cetaphil and then applying a thin layer of organic coconut oil instead of my regular moisturizer! It's a miracle! Acne is not gone but has cleared up significantly!

The only thing that cleared mime up is antibacterial soap and I haven't had a problem with it ever since.

Thanks! I just bought Cetaphil. I actually saw the CeraVe but had never heard of it. I will give it a try if the Cetaphil and witch hazel do not work!

I went to a dermatologist back in Feb pre-prego and she gave me epiduo which worked better than anything however I had to stop once I found out I was pregnant...I just went back to her and she told me to use CeraVe foaming cleanser and she also gave me a safe prescription called Finacea...I have yet to use it because the CeraVe is working so well. I always had problems with zits and my Doctor is the only one that cured me. She's one of the best in CT and I travel almost an hour to see her but my face is so worth it and she also told me that we could talk about fixing my future stretch marks after my daughter arrives. If you have insurance definitely look into going to a dermatologist.

I've found that it's really gentle and doesn't dry out my skin, not like normal toner/astringent. It doesn't smell the greatest, but the smell goes away in a minute.

I may try the witch hazel. I was just worried about it drying my skin out to much. But I'm willing to try anything!

I have the same problem :( I started washing my face with a teaspoon of baking soda added to my normal cleanser,  and then I use witch hazel as toner. It's working, so hopefully I don't have to live with my teenage skin for too much longer!
