acrylic nails.

Any ladies get there nails done. Not just a basic manicure with polish. But the acrylic nails? I miss getting my nails done. I want to get them done. But family and friends are saying I shouldn't because it's easier to scratch the baby when he's here. etc. Any input?

I got acrylic nails after the birth of my son and had no issues caring for him or ever have issues whem changing his diapers.  I had them for like 6 months but got sick of up keep. I know have shellac over my natural nails which arw about as long as my fake nails were and no issues still.

The way they file them, they are so dull you are more likely to scratch baby with your real nails which rip and get jagged then acrylic.
