I know this isnt what you want to hear but sometimes NOTHING will work if your body/baby arent ready. I did every trick in the book for weeks and my baby was still almost a week late... a membrane sweep may have helped me, but who knows since I was already 3 days overdue at the time, but I did go into labor 25 hours later.
IF u do have to go get induced or idk if doc could do it to help set off labor and then send u home for a day or so but maybe worth asking about. I was induced cervix wouldn't dilate so my doc put basically a balloon device in there then blew it up to help ease cervix open n get things goin without chemicals
I tried everything with my daughter... Well let me rephrase my sisters tried to get me to do everything and nothing helped! My daughter was 13 days over due. And that was before anything even finally started to move... Honestly like a previous post said unless your body starts the process you can't force it to do anything...
Lunges and squats are supposed to help stretch out the areas around your cervix. Try sitting squat-like on a stool and rocking your hips if you don't have a birthing ball. This always seems to make my baby drop down a little further. Walk, walk, walk!
Raspberry leaf tea is ment to help, and pineapple and lots of it is ment to thin the cervix and their fore kick start things! And I also heard that about evening primrose oil too!
Start taking Evening Primrose Oil Capsules ASAP. The more you take the better they work. Its suggested that you began taking it at 36 weeks. But its never to late when your cervix is not Dialating
If your cervix is closed, you can't make it open. The natural induction methods are to help once you're already dilated and effaced. You could try squats and a lot of walking but I can't imagine it would help too much :/
