Im about 9 weeks pregnant and was wondering are the airport body scanners safe to walk through?

No u just tell them and they will pat u down why add any unnecessary radiation.

I think you can request to be searched if you are concerned..i did this with my daughter 8 years ago and they were fine with that

yeah. body scanners are fine unless labelled otherwise. the dangerous ones are where your luggage passes through.
I went through plenty airport body scanners. no harm  :-)
