Yes its better to let it out then to hold it in. Trust me this was overwhelming to do but at the end of the day you'll feel relieved. ;)

I've been having anxiety and my doctor suggested and even gave me a prescription for depression but I didn't take it. Learned how to talk about my issues etc and started exercising, reading etc to get my mind off of things. Hope this helps. Keep the faith :)

I was on the anti depressant celexa and bi polar medication since i was 16. Got pregnant at 22 years old and decided to get off of them at 9 weeks pregnant. My dr said they were safe to take but better for baby if i didn't take them.  To make it less hard on my body, I slowly got off of them.  I lowered the dose every few days and I had no problems.  After i had my daughter,  i did have horrible post partum but still didn't go back on the meds.  Lasted about 2 months. It's been 5 months since i had my baby and I'm still not on any medication.  You learn how to deal with life without medication.  Just remember,  taking medicine is just part of the solution.  It won't cure your depression.  It takes a lot of hard work to control it. Good luck momna! If you feel like you needs meds to help,  give it a shot.
