baby is moving less?

I'm currently 38+5 and within the past 8 hours baby is moving less, still within my ob guidelines but not nearly her normal. Could this mean I'm close to labor or something bad? I'm trying not to worry cause she is still moving just not her normal hard kicks.

I agree with the orange juice, there isn't a lot of room for the baby to move so you probably will be going in to labor soon. If your feeling the baby move it's fine, try not to worry your almost done and soon will have your precious baby in your arms. Congrats

They do that from time to time. Especially getting closer to the end bc they are running out of room. I am 35 weeks and my daughter is moving less today. As long as you are feeling baby then you are fine. As far as it meaning if you are going into labor, i wouldnt think so bc they can move just as much until you are actually in labor but you are far along so it could happen any day

Sometimes it's because you had a very active day (more then normal) so you rock the baby to sleep. My doctor suggested I lay for a couple hours and let myself and baby get rest. Expect some movement after that.

Ok thank you. It is just night and day from Saturday to Sunday on how much she slowed down. Today she is movingng a little more, but still not her normal but the doc says its ok. Just had me nervous and wondering why all of a sudden she would slow down.

Drink some orange juice and if baby doesn't move like you like call your doctor to be checked. I'm sure they won't mind. Always better safe than sorry
