baby shower question

Sorry I've been posting alot about baby showers lately. But mine is this weekend so my mind is going. But all of the showers I've been to they open the gifts. And I don't really want to open mine. Just because I feel it's a long process and I don't want to have to rush. I'd rather do it at home. Would that come off as rude?

I think everyone knows your opening their presents since their bringing them in all. My family usually puts them in bags instead of wrapping paper its much faster. Im having my baby shower Sunday and I can't wait. But i think my bf family is more excited than we are. It's their first grand baby so im sure there will be alot of oooohing and aweing lol.  But good luck to yours. I still hope you enjoy yourself.

That's the part i dreaded the most... I always get super bored as a guest at a baby shower opening gifts so I can only imagine the agony people were going through at mine-it took me 2 hours, and that was politely hurrying. I'm so thankful I was blessed with so much stuff, but it wwas uncomfortable to do it......but, its part of if :) you'll be fine!

Yes I just had my baby shower yesterday andI ddidn't want to open anything (I kept that to myself) took about an hour but after 5 gifts ppl stop paying attention anyways lol do it quickly and smile . It will be over before you know it! Start off with good , games and then gifts ppl will be tried by then and you won't have so much anxiety of all the attention on you. Good luck beautiful!
