babys' health insurance

I am a ftm and would like to know how do you go about getting the baby's insurance? Do you pay a separate insurence premium? Or you add the baby  to your insurance?  How much more would the insurence cost approximately? I don't get any help or medicaid I currently have United healthcare in the state of New jersey.   Please advice, I tried to find out thru my insurance but they won't give me any info or price until the baby is born. Share your experience, thank you

You might be able to go to United's website and create a fake profile to get an estimate of how much it will cost. I have Aetna and that's what I did. It'll be an extra $200 a month- Ughhh.

I have insurance through my job. When my dsughter was born they added her to my plan and it went up a little over $100 a check. With my son when I have him it won't go up because the plan I'm on is for employee plus children. I will just have him put on it as well.
