Think pink and summer ..I did baby foot prints white and pink and colors were pink and hot pink and white ..with hints of lime green loved it..

Mine will also be Aug 2nd and my theme is zebra and pink! I'm obsessed with zebra and my 1st daughter has purple zebra everything and I've bought pink zebra everything for the baby her room is all ready so we just took that and went with it for the party! Good luck

I had my shower the weekend before last. My mom threw it for me and she did such an amazing job! I love mermaids so she did a mermaid/seaside theme. Everything was light blue, aqua or seafoam green and she put pieces of coral and starfish on the tables. The flowers were in mason jars that had seashells at the bottom. She even hand painted my invitations - it had a mermaid holding a mermaid baby. And the party favors were small glass bottles with bubble bath inside and tied with a shimmery ribbon and twine and a little tag with a mermaid on it that said "mermaid bubbles." It was tea party style. Alot of appetizer type of foods including mini crab cakes, deviled eggs, small sandwiches and dips. And the cake looked like it had waves on it and had a marzipan mermaid baby on top!

Go for a summer-ish theme, like watermelon and lemonade... or ice cream and shakes.  Or go for something girly, like an afternoon tea or a garden/flower theme.  Or, just pick a color theme, which matches your nursery.
