balloon procedure?

I had a doctors appt Today and was told my cervix is still closed. Hes planning to induce me on Saturday and wants me to go to the hospital on friday to get this balloon procedure done so it will open my cervix? Has anyone had it done before and know if it hurts? Also started to bleed a brownish blood late tonight should i be worried about that?

I've been getting induced since Monday at midnight and they did that. It didn't really hurt, but also they applied a numb gel inside the vagina and they also put numb medication thru the IV. The balloon will gall out once ur cervix is as the size of the balloon which is apparently 3 cm

I've heard it's uncomfortable simply from the pressure it creates against your cervix. If you are truly closed though, the Foley bulb won't be able to pass through the cervical opening. Good luck!

So it's not to bad just really uncomfortable and it started my contractions which are painful. They will offer pain meds through the IV trust me take them
