Just had my fourth baby and in a few wks I got back to my OB for my 6 wk appt. I'm gettin the Mirena and I'm kinda hesitant about gettin it based off things ive heard. Ive talked to my dr about it but I'm just curious to know if you ladies have it or have had it, what you thought and your experiences just to help me out. Thanks a lot. :)

I'm currently 37wks and I had mine for 5 yrs before getting pregnant. I had my period every month even though the doctor said I wouldn't. I didn't gain weight but my husband told me he felt it when we had sex. I'm getting it again because I think its the best birth control.

I personally hated it!  Extremely painful going in, bled lightly for an entire year, and painful during sex:(  this being said, I have friends who have had it and love it, so I guess it depends on the person.  Just do lots of research :)  good luck!

I had it for about two years and loved it everyone always bashes it but my experience was great no pregnancy scared no period didn't gain weight I loved it and will probably get it after this pregnancy
