bleeding & cramping! u/s not showing baby advice or experiences please tell!

Im 7 to 8 weeks pregnant and I've had what started as brown spotting this past Monday and now for two days has been red/pink blood 3 times which was somewhat light not heavy. I went to the ER last night because ive also had mild to severe cramping and got a trans vaginal ultrasound but they could not see the baby or hear a heartbeat. Pregnancy test blood work was positive but my hcg level is a low 96. And my cervix is closed which is good.  But I'm still very worried.  Anybody else been in this situation or is? Any advice will help

Well ladies I had blood work done on Tuesday sorry im now replying just been very worried for my little one. The test results were that my hcg level only went from a 96 to 99 in two days its going up but not doubling at all. Im glad it wasn't going down but its still not the way it should be. They put the doppler  to see if there was a heartbeat but they couldnt find it. I will ask them to do an ultrasound in two weeks since i will be further along and maybe it will be visible. As far as now the cramping has stopped since Tuesday afternoon and so far the bleeding is only 2-3 drops and when I wipe also almost nothing. They want me to go for another appointment in two weeks since hcg did rise (very little) to check my hcg levels again and see if they've doubled or tripled. I've been doing a lot of praying, no mother should go through not knowing how your baby is doing or even a loss of a child. Please keep us in your prayers and God bless you!

This happened to me I thought I was having a misscarrige as there was alot of bleeding with blood clot at 6 weeks but it turned out to be a subchronic hematoma (a threatened miscarriage) im now 8 weeks and had cramping again but no clots just tiny bit of bleeding both times bright red followed by brown.  Cervix are closed ultrasound showed baby with heart beat all normal. Im 9 weeks on thursday going for checkup ultra sound so I hope all is going ok.  Have u herd of my condition before?

The HCG at 96 is not good. I had an IUD when I got pregnant so wasn't sure how far along I was. At 4 1/2 weeks my HCG was 825 and doc told me that was so low she was sure I was miscarrying, assuming I was at least 6 weeks along. Levels were checked 48 hours later and were at 2271, which is good, nearly tripled. Got first u/s 5w 5d, where I could see and hear heartbeat. I'm new to pregnancy, but was a pre-med student and my father was a doctor. The hospital should have discussed the HCG levels to you. At this point, it should be well into the 10's of 1,000's. Talk to an OB/GYN, have your levels checked and if you're miscarrying, make sure you don't have an ectopic or molar pregnancy (basically a tumor). Good luck and I hope they figure it out. It seems odd that they didn't want to test a second time to track the HCG levels.

That just happened to me in Feb. I was having the spotting light cramps on and off. The first ultrasound showed a heartbeat but he had me come back in10 days because he should have seen more. Thats when there was no heartbeat. So he did tests on hcg levels two days apart. If its dropping then you're going to have a miscarriage. Thatvis what happened to me. So sry. Its very painful physically and emotionally.

I, had the same thing happen to me... was spotting and went to the ER and had an ultrasound sound done and no fetal pole or heartbeat. .  They told me I was gonna miscarry. .. 3 weeks later I started cramping really bad and bleeding severely. .. I miscarried in the shower and went to the hospital and was confirmed that it was a miscarriage. .. 2 months later found out I was pregnant again. .. now I'm 35 weeks pregnant. .. I hope everything goes well for you... God bless you

Same thing happened to me,  I ended up having a miscarriage.  Then got pregnant again 2 months later.  And am now 33 weeks.  When you have a miscarriage its your body's way of saying something isn't right.  Best of luck,  keep us posted!

I went thru the same thing. I was bleeding and cramping so I went into the ER. The did ultrasound and saw no heartbeat. My cervix was closed as well and they told me they couldnt say for sure if I was having a miscarriage. I went home that night and after a few hours my bleeding worsened and I was having a miscarriage. I wish you all the best. Keep us posted please.
