bleeding gums

Have you all been suffering from bleeding gums during pregnancy?im watching tv and my teeth/gum hurts. I go check and have dry blood in between that are in tooth,so then I floss and bleed till it stops. Im 12 weeks but ive noticed my gums have been more sensitive since I got pregnant. Any recommendations?

It's recommended to get regular cleanings while pregnant. Inflammation of the gums is very common; my Dr recommended switching to sensodyne toothpaste to help.

Switch to a soft bristle tooth brush. But it's very normal because of the extra blood flow in your body and from brushing it irritates your gums causing them to bleed

I saw my dentist at 20 weeks for a cleaning and check up. He recommended it

That's normal. And my doctor actually recommend seeing your dentist at least once during pregnancy.

That is y they say not to go to dentist during pregnancy, or at least I was told not to.  Sorry you are dealing with that.

Mines bleed too. The doctor said your gums get sensitive while pregnant
