blood pressure!

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and had normal blood pressure until yesterday when it suddenly got high, up to 150/90...since then baby is kicking all the time...went to the doctor who told me to  test for anemia and thyroid hormones. Anyone else maybe having (or had) same problems? I'm soooo worried I can't sleep well either...

Silly phone! I take meds for high blood pressure . It all started with my first baby and has been an issue since. This is my second baby and i have to take meds 3 times a day and monitor my blood pressure at home. My ob said that pregnancy just brought it out in me. I found that it gave me anxiety knowing it was high and that made my blood pressure a bit higher. I know its hard to do but try to relax and wait and see what the dr says. Good luck.

2 weeks ago I was in the 160s/90 my doctor put me on a very high dose of blood pressure meds. I refused to take them. I asked for bed rest instead he said no and insisted on b the meds. So I switched am now on bed rest at  the hospital and my blood pressure has not been higher than 125/70. Rest rest and rest it will help. Don't over think about it. You will be fine mama.
