braxton hicks?

Im 36 weeks and my Dr said I could go into labor anytime. Over the last week I've think I've been having braxton hicks, and every day there seems to be more of them. Not sure if that's what it really is. When it happens it feels like I'm going to have a bowl movement,  like when you eat something and it doesn't agree with you. Sorry TMI. But that's how it feels. It last about 20-45 seconds. Has anybody else had contractions or braxton hicks like that?

Find a very steep hill and walk down it then walk back up it. But, the hill has to be very steep. I did his with my lastl pregnancy at 37 weeks and I went into labor that same night.

They say you can determine if they are Braxton hicks contractions by laying down on your left side and if they subside then they are indeed Braxton hicks. That's what I've heard anyway, I'm a ftm and almost 38 weeks along.

Omg...that is exactly what I have been feeling like, but I'm not sure if it is Braxton hicks or not. My body must be having them as I was 2 cm dilated on monday.
